THE INCLUSIVE LEARNING PARTNERSHIP

SPECIALIST TUTORING

We can provide ELSA, child-centred therapies and early literacy support for your school. We offer a unique mix of evidence-based six-week interventions designed by our special educational needs experts to support learners and staff in assisting children with academic and personal growth.

We use a combination of multi-sensory activities, targeted interventions, and well-being strategies in our sessions. We align our support with individual school targets or EHCP outcomes when required.

Before the intervention, a senior consultant will provide a free consultation to codesign the best support programme.

Times can be scheduled to meet with parents and educators to provide feedback.

Teaching Assistants can also attend to enhance their CPD.

Each block of six sessions is a unit of work that can be supplemented with further blocks of six sessions to increase impact.

All our specialist tutors receive supervision, training and safe-guarding training.

All have a current DBS check and personal insurance.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Earlier identification of needs and strategies for support.
  • Stronger home and school partnerships.
  • Reduced workload stress for teachers.
  • CPD opportunities for TA's.
  • Improved well-being and academic confidence of the student.
  • Progress made by transgressing learning barriers.

PARENT WORKSHOPS

Developing a successful partnership between home and school is crucial for supporting any child, especially those with special educational needs. Schools that organise specialised workshops for parents and carers are highly regarded by parents as they strengthen the relationship between the school and home. We offer workshops that can be accessed online or conducted in person at your school to assist parents in feeling supported. The workshops are conducted over two sessions, with attendance records and a course certificate provided as evidence of participation.

Our workshops stand out with a unique approach, resulting in parents developing a toolkit for their child using strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Educational Neuroscience.

Currently available:

  • Helping Children to Manage Stress and Anxiety.
  • Managing "melt-downs" at home.
  • Creating effective home and school partnerships.
  • Transitions to new schools and how to make them work.

Expected Outcomes:

  • You are providing early intervention for your children to help prevent future issues.
  • The workshops are inspection-friendly and contribute to the safeguarding of vulnerable pupils, providing schools with a sense of security and assurance.
  • Smoother transitions to new settings.
  • Increased regulation and behaviour management strategies.
